Friends! You’ve now supported this newsletter for over a year and I could not be more grateful. I hope some of the prompts you’ve received have sparked a little creativity. I’m so glad you’re here. How about a little mix-up?
Throughout the year I will continue to post regular prompts, as well as reading recommendations to inform and empower your work, and I hope to see some of your work in my inbox or posted in the comments! However, I’m going to include an extra something that is HIGHLY PERSONAL for my paid subscribers.
If you follow me on social media, you may or may not be familiar with my world-famous, VIP childhood diary. Since finding it a few years ago in an old memory box, it has been a source of well - embarrassment for me, and nostalgia and secondhand cringe for others. And seeing as the smelly gel pens I used are fading before my eyes, to the point where the sentiment is fading, I have decided to save the pages by writing them up. Since looking at the tatty dramatic and downright ridiculous pages, I figured what’s the point in keeping this all to myself? So prepare to taken on a journey from The Diary of Charlotte Brogan aged 10-11, as well as your regular poetry prompts.
Exhibit A: Diary with top secret lock. NO adults allowed.
Because why not? It’s my newsletter! I can share what I want! And all I want is to spark a little joy!
For now back to regularly scheduled programming of your prompts. And tomorrow … First entry is landing in your inbox (hehe)
